The latest news from the Gallery

It is with great sadness that I have to let you know that the Gallery will be closing at Christmas. The present economic situation and the fact that my lease has come up for renewal, meant that it was the best decision for me at this time.

There will be a closing down sale starting Saturday 22nd November 2008. All items in the gallery, including work by Siddy Langley, Peter Layton and Dennis Chinaworks will be on offer for, at least, 1/3rd off and up to 1/2 price for other artists, including paintings by Paresh Nrshinga and Janet Rogers. Works by local artists, on sale or return, will be removed from display.

I have really enjoyed my time at the Gallery and, although not financially profitable, it has given me a new appreciation of the arts and many new friends, which is priceless.

I wish to thank everyone for their friendship and custom and hope to see you before I close for the last time. Also may I take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy Christmas and Prosperous New Year.
